Clift Rodgers Library is unique. Over 100 years old, the Library is free and open to all; truly, "a little gem in your own backyard." An independent library, Clift Rodgers is independent of the town public library, and independent in its fundraising efforts. It has no endowment fund.

The Library supports itself with income from the Consignment Shop, the Memorial Day Book Sale, the Silent Auction, the Spring Garden Tour, various other fundraising events, and importantly, it is supported by its "living endowment", the generous people who value it and donate time and money to keep it going. These "Friends of the Library" are listed on the Honor Roll in the front stairwell.

We encourage you to support the Clift Rodgers Library in many ways. Visit the Library often, participate in our fundraising efforts, introduce a friend to our "little gem", volunteer to work in the shop and help with other Library needs. A contribution of your time, consignment shop articles and/or money will be greatly appreciated.

We encourage you to join us in our second century of service and hope you will come to regard Clift Rodgers as a useful and delightful part of your life.
